Onaivi Dania

Onaivi Dania is a workplace mentoring strategist with a rich blend of Information Technology and Human Capital Development experience. He is the founder and Team Lead of Precepts & Mentors, a career and business mentoring firm based in Nigeria with footprints in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Dubai.
He started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 22 when he founded a personal development company, Xploits Precepts Limited as a 300 Level Computer Engineering Student
As the founding CEO of Xploits Precepts Ltd, he initiated several empowerment programs such as Business Horsepower, Embryonic Entrepreneurs’ Workshops and Small Business Mentorship Scheme. These programs have enabled several undergraduate students commence their entrepreneurial ventures while in school and have enabled them become active entrepreneurs as graduates.
His desire for management consulting and human capital development made him join Joseph Consulting (JC Company Int’l) as an associate consultant where he was responsible for the supervision of development and re-branding of the company’s web-based human capital development platform. He was also responsible for developing and facilitating bespoke Human Capital Development programs such as Workplace Attitude, Contact Management, Workplace Mentoring, Performance Kinetics, Vision Management, to mention but a few.
He has facilitated several workplace mentoring and leadership sessions for several organisations in West Africa such as Skye Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, Diamond Bank Plc, Soveriegn Trust Insurance Plc, UpperLink Ltd, Metro Eyes Ltd, Nosak Healthcare, MegaLife Sciences Ltd, Regina Mundi Catholic Hospital, Seawolf Oilfields Services Ltd, Fort Knox Group, Chase Express, MAPLE Education Canada Inc, Agura Hotel, SMEDAN, Rescue & Guard Response Initiative to mention but a few.
Widely known as the “Mentor-Mentee Matchmaker”, Onaivi’s current disposition is to help individuals achieve their dreams via the tool of mentoring. As a result, he established a mentoring program in 2012 for young professionals themed “The Mentor Magnet”. Since 2012, he has hosted a wide range of mentoring events for High School Teachers (Teachers as Mentors Program), Managers As Mentors for Program for Urban Professionals and organizes the quarterly The Mentorship Masterclass which rotates in different cities around the Africa.
Onaivi Dania is an active contributor in various local and regional mentoring events and has worked with several non-profits and civil society organisations in executing their functional mentoring projects.
