Christine Ambetsa is a Senior Territory Sales Manager for SME’s at Oracle, an
American multinational technology corporation headquartered in California. The
company specializes primarily in developing and marketing enterprise
software, cloud solutions and hardware, and assisting companies of all sizes, in
all industries and geographies, to meet and exceed their business goals with the
help of Oracle products/solutions and services.
Before Oracle, Christine was Hewlett Packard’s (HP) Channel Sales Manager in
charge of Services across English Speaking Sub Saharan Africa, and managed
their Partner Program, Partner Sales and Partner Marketing across the same
Prior to this, she was Head of Aftersales at General Motors Company (Now Isuzu
East Africa) where she started her career, managing the Sales, Marketing,
Inventory and Warehousing functions of the company in Kenya.
In the 14-year period working with GM, HP and Oracle, Christine has delivered
over $100m in sales revenue and is a recipient of multiple sales awards and
performance based recognitions globally. She has interacted with over 500
small and medium sized companies across the region.
Christine is passionate about sales, technology and Africa. She intentionally
spends a significant amount of her spare time with young women in tech, and
provides career coaching and mentoring to young girls in high school
transitioning to University.
She is an avid reader, traveler and music enthusiast who enjoys networking and
Christine holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University
of Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Society of
Kenya (MSK), a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Kenyatta University, a
Diploma in the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) from
Strathmore University and is a Licentiate Member of the Institute for the
Management of Information Systems (LIMIS). She also holds over 30
